INITIAL CONSULTATION

As story tellers, we need to understand who you are as a couple and your dreams for your wedding and beyond. This ultimately allows you to feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

Our first meeting is an invitation into our world to explore exactly what you want, so we can then support you in selecting the package that is perfectly suited for your day. Having this prior opportunity with you allows us to create the most authentic imagery that reflects who you are, through our lens.

PRE WEDDING TEST SERIES

Your wedding booking with Couture Photography includes an informal photographic session well ahead of your big day. You will experience how it feels to be in front of our camera and how effortless it is under our direction.

PHOTO STYLE CONSULTATION

Following the pre-wedding test shoot, we again meet to meander through the images captured during our first shoot together. This allows us to determine the style and approach best suited to you as a couple. It is also time for us to consult on your timeline, lighting and styling plans for your wedding. This will ensure we can translate your vision through our lens.

OUR APPROACH

Photographers that are unobtrusive. From those early readying rituals to the emotionally charged moments of your wedding vows, our style of shooting is relaxed so you are barely aware of our camera when it is there. Honoured to be invited into your private world to share such a personal experience, we want you to feel comfortable (at all times) and at ease. Not only does this produce a more authentic and beautiful photographic result but ensures your day unfolds naturally, with honesty and with candour. During portrait time, we may provide you with some initial direction to get you started but your job is simple: to concentrate on how much you love each other so that we can step back and let the magic unfold before our lens.

PROFESSIONAL POST PRODUCTION & EDITING

All of your final imagery will be professionally edited in a combination high-calibre black & white, and colour editorial style. We take incredible care with editing each individual image resulting in a beautifully cohesive final gallery of images you will have to cherish for a lifetime.

PHOTO ESSAY OF YOUR DAY

Shortly after your wedding, we will send you a small number of "highlights" as digital files that you can share with your family and friends.

Then, principal photographer Louise Grayson will personally sit with your photographs and create a bespoke photo essay that will tell the story of your wedding through photographs she will curate into a series that captures the day as it unfolded. In this final step in your journey with us, our final consultation will show you how your photos will look in a luxury album. This will make the often overwhelming (but so exciting) task of choosing what to do with all your beautiful wedding photos, so much fun and easy. This consultation has been designed to take the guessing out of how to create special keepsakes from your gorgeous photography.

Create special keepsakes from your gorgeous photography. With our luxury album design service and bespoke printing options, we can create the perfect print and product package to suit your home and life.

Handcrafted here in Australia, our wedding albums are printed on fine art paper, bound in your choice of materials.
